All collections include travel within a 50-mile radius of the Kansas City metro area.

For events beyond a 100-mile round trip, mileage will be applied at the current IRS rate. Depending on distance and timing, overnight accommodations may be required to ensure your day is covered with intention and care.

For destination or extended-travel celebrations, the couple is responsible for round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations for the night of the event, local transportation, and meals on the event day. Any additional hotel nights or personal expenses will be covered by Captured by Carody.

All travel details are thoughtfully discussed and confirmed in advance so everything feels effortless from start to finish.

Photographers, videographers, and content creators each capture your wedding day in their own unique way, and they can work beautifully alongside one another. Photographers create timeless, professionally composed images, while videographers capture your day in motion through professionally edited films. Content creators focus on the candid, behind-the-scenes moments in a way that is ready to experience and share almost immediately. I capture photos and short 5-15 second video clips throughout the day, which I turn into fun, share-ready short-form videos, typically 30 seconds to 2 minutes long. Rather than replacing your photographer or videographer, content creation complements their work and gives you another way to relive and share your day.

Videographers create polished, professionally edited films using high-end equipment, typically delivered as a 10–20 minute wedding video. As a content creator, I capture your day in a completely different way. I focus on filming the in between moments in short 5–10 second clips that I later craft into “share-ready” short-form videos, typically 15–30 seconds in length.

Your photographer and videographer are there to create timeless images and professionally produced films, while I focus on capturing the candid, behind-the-scenes moments of your day and turning them into share-ready content you can enjoy almost immediately. Think of it as one more way to experience your wedding day, alongside the beautiful work of your photo and video team.

Of course you can! Wedding content is for everyone, whether you're an avid social media poster or someone who prefers to keep things private. It’s about creating a timeless, personalized story that you’ll cherish for years to come.

Once your wedding day is over, you’ll receive a link to your full gallery via DropBox within 24 to 72 hours. Every wedding is different which means every gallery delivery is different, but on average you will receive a collection of raw 100 photos/videos per hour. Your memories will be thoughtfully arranged into organized folders with easy download instructions, making it simple to relive your day and share it with loved ones.
